Technical Training and Compliance Assistance For Utility Staff and Organizations Concerning PWS, RTCR, and OSSF Regulatory Requirements

  • Texas Drinking Water Solutions provides regulatory guidance, technical training, and compliance assistance to owners, operators, and officials of public water systems (PWS) in conducting site-specific corrective action activities for groundwater, surface water, and Ground Water Under the Direct Influence of Surface Water (GUI) treatment plants and distribution systems to achieve compliance with treatment and distribution system requirements in accordance with Title 30 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Chapter 290.
  • TDWS coordinates the development and implementation of technical training and regulatory outreach efforts for PWSs, businesses, and organizations at conferences, workshops, and events concerning 30 TAC Chapter 290 and Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR) requirements.
  • TDWS coordinates with state and federal agencies and governmental entities to monitor and evaluate proposed legislation, rule amendments, and regulatory policies that impact PWSs and the regulated community.
